Instructor Panel in DPLMS
The instructor is the learning platform where teachers can add their courses and make a schedule.
9. Instructor Panel
The Instructor Panel, It is a dedicated dashboard that allows instructors (teachers) to manage their assigned courses, students, and live classes. Similarly, it gives instructors quick visibility into course readiness, tools to create and track students, schedule live sessions, and manage their own profile and account settings.
9.1 Overview
On the Overview page, it is used to show a summary of the instructor's assigned courses, including how many courses are ready to publish and how many still need curriculum, along with an overall curriculum completion score. Although, it also provides quick-access cards for Assigned Courses, Student Management, Live Classes, and Settings, plus a list of the instructor's assigned courses.
9.1.1. How it works (stepwise):
- The Instructor login to the dashboard.
- The overview page shows the assigned course count and how many still need curriculum.
- The instructor checks the quick card to go to the other page.
- The instructor clicks "View" to open that section.
9.1.2. Advantages of Overview
- The instructor can see everything in one page.
- Easy to know which course still needs work.
- Save time, no need to open many pages.
9.1.3. Disadvantage of Overview
- It display the number only not the full detail
- It does not view the old Activity or History.
- It does not show the actual Picture scores of Completion.
